TNCA ADVISORY ON QUALIFICATION RULES FOR CITY BOYS UNDER 14 (2025 - 26)
(Players selected to Round Robin will have to furnish the documents as listed below)
  1. Players born on or after 01st SEPTEMBER 2011 but on or before 31st AUGUST 2013 are only eligible to participate in the Trials.
  2. Players will be required to submit the scanned ORIGINAL DIGITAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE an updated Aadhar scanned copy, and SCHOOL ACADEMIC YEAR BONAFIDE (Mention Admission No & date and DOB) AND MARK SHEETS from the previous THREE (03) YEARS.
  3. Boys residing and having address proof within Chennai will be permitted to participate in the trials, and the Aadhaar card will be accepted as valid proof of I.D.

  4. Computer Generated Birth Certificate:

    As you are aware, validation of authenticity of birth certificates in India is a herculean task. A lot of birth certificates we receive are handwritten and pose difficulties while verifying these documents with the relevant authorities.
  5. Sworn affidavits are not acceptable for the purpose of changes in date of birth.
  6. Aadhar card must be updated with a recent photograph. Such an update should have been done after July 1st, 2024.
  7. Any player submitting fraudulent date of birth proof documents will be disqualified and debarred from participating in any TNCA/BCCI tournaments for two (02) years from the date of such disqualification. After completion of their two-year ban period, they will not be allowed to participate in any TNCA/BCCI age group tournaments.

  8. Born Abroad/Holding an Overseas Passport (OCI/PIO)

    The BCCI registration dept will not accept registration of a player online in any of the age groups if he is born outside India/holding an overseas passport (OCI / PIO). However, such a cricketer will be allowed to play for that association, subject to fulfilling any of the following criteria:
    • A player should be holding an Indian Passport, which should be issued on or before the 1st of September 2024, showing an address within the jurisdiction of that association he intends to play.

  9. Documents to Upload Online along with the Registration Form:

    For the under-14, the following documents must be uploaded along with the registration form.
    • Scanned copy of original digital birth certificate.
    • School academic Bonafide and Mark sheets from the last three years, if applicable.
    • Aadhar card with a recent photograph and should have been done after July 1st ,2024 or an Old Aadhar card along with an updated applied acknowledgement copy.
  10. Note:
    • BOYS RESIDING AND HAVING ADDRESS PROOF WITHIN CHENNAI WILL BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIALS, AND AN AADHAAR CARD WILL BE ACCEPTED AS VALID PROOF OF I.D.
