TNCA ADVISORY ON QUALIFICATION RULES FOR CITY BOYS UNDER 19 (2025 – 26)
  1. PLAYERS BORN ON OR AFTER 1ST SEPTEMBER 2006 AND ON OR BEFORE 31ST AUGUST 2009 are only eligible to participate in the Trials.
  2. Boys residing and having address proof within Chennai will be permitted to participate in the trials.

  3. Computer Generated Birth Certificate:

    As you are aware, validation of authenticity of birth certificates in India is a herculean task. Lot of birth certificates we receive are handwritten and pose difficulties while verifying these documents with the relevant authorities.
  4. Sworn affidavits are not acceptable for the purpose of changes in date of birth.
  5. Any player submitting fraudulent date of birth proof documents will be disqualified and debarred from participating in any TNCA / BCCI tournaments for two (02) years from the date of such disqualification.
  6. Only AADHAR CARD within Chennai will be accepted as valid proof of I.D.

  7. Born and residing within Chennai

    Aadhar card must be updated with recent photograph. Such updation should have been done after April 1st ,2023.

  8. Born Outside Tamil Nadu and Residing within Chennai

    Aadhaar Card will be accepted as a proof of residence from this season onwards, Aadhaar Card can also be provided as a proof of residence to consider for selections.
    • Aadhaar should be issued, on or before 01.06.2024 bearing address within jurisdiction of Chennai (Tamil Nadu)
    • The players will have to generate their Aadhaar card history, simply by visiting the below link: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaar-updatehistory
    • Once you click onto the above link, please enter your 12 digit UID no. mentioned on the Aadhaar card & enter your Security code.
    • Click on Send OTP button you will receive 6 digit OTP no. on your registered mobile no. Type OTP received and click onto submit button. It will take you to a page, where the history of your Aadhaar Card will be seen.
    • Download history of Aadhar card and scan Aadhar copy separately using a high-quality scanner. Save the scanned files in PDF format and upload the Aadhaar copy.

  9. Born Abroad

    • The player must hold an Indian passport to be eligible to participate. Any player holding a passport of a different country shall not be eligible to participate. (OCI /PIO card holders are NOT ALLOWED)
  10. Documents to Upload Online along with the Registration Form: For the under-19, following documents must be uploaded along with the registration form.
    • Passport Size Photograph Blue Background with white collar T- Shirt (Mandatory) – Upload Jpeg format only.
    • Scanned copy of original digital birth certificate (Mandatory) - upload pdf format only.
    • Current Year School / College Bonafide (Mandatory) - upload pdf format only.
    • 10th, 12th & College Mark sheet for the year 2023-24 & 2024 – 25 (Mandatory)- upload pdf format only.
    • Aadhar card with recent photograph and should have been done after April 1st ,2023 / If applied for update. kindly attach the acknowledgement along with existing Aadhar. upload pdf format only.
    • For Players born outside India, Indian Passport with Tamil Nadu jurisdiction (Mandatory). upload pdf format only.
